Domain Names & Registration

Your name. Your online address.

Search for the domain name customers will use to find your website. Choose an available extension such as .com, .co.uk or .uk, then confirm the current registration price in the client area. If you already own a domain, ask us about the transfer requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a domain name the same as web hosting?

No. A domain is the address people use to reach your website. Hosting provides the environment that runs the website. You can choose both through Premium Hosting, but check each service and its price separately.

What is a domain extension or TLD?

The top-level domain is the final label, such as .com or .uk. The familiar .co.uk registration extension sits within .uk. Choose an extension that fits your audience and check its availability and registration requirements.

Where are domain availability and prices confirmed?

The search takes you to the Premium Hosting client area, where availability and the current price are confirmed. Review the registration term, renewal information and final total before ordering.

Can I move a domain I already own?

Ask our team to confirm the transfer route for your domain extension and current registrar. Plan the domain, DNS, website and email changes together; transferring a domain does not itself move your website files or mailboxes.

What should I check about domain renewal?

Check the renewal date, renewal price and applicable terms in the client area. Registration and renewal prices can differ, and the domain may renew separately from its hosting. Keep contact and payment details current and confirm any auto-renewal setting.

Will changing DNS affect my email?

It can. Nameserver changes can affect the whole DNS zone, including email records. Before moving a website, save the existing records and confirm which mail and verification settings must stay in place. A website move does not automatically move mailboxes.
